The Lexington VA Healthcare System has a requirement for a contractor to provide construction services for Project # 596-21-104, Replace Deteriorated Underground Utilities – Water, Sanitary & Storm Drain Distribution (SD) in accordance with the Statement of Work, Project Specifications and Drawings.
The project work will take place in a medical environment and the proposed contractor shall take into consideration infection control, demolition noise, environmental dust control, and specialized facility requirements as necessary in working in a medical/hospital centered setting.
NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this requirement. The Small Business size standard is $45M.
The estimate range of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00
This requirement will be procured by way of FAR Part 15, as a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process.
This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C §8127 (d). To be considered for award, Contractors must be registered, and CVE verified in SBA VetCert at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov.
In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice, the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to award any award being made.
