Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: Division of Wildlife Resources
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: Aerial seeding to approximately 15,337 acres of the Monroe Canyon area as part of the Monroe Canyon Fire Rehabilitation/Restoration Treatments, to be completed between November 5th and November 19th, 2025. Project will be broken up into sections that will be seeded with different weight per acre as follows:
7,200 acres total @ 13.87 lbs/acre. (BLM Portion)
675 acres total @ 14.35 lbs/acre. (SITLA Portion)
545 acres total @ 13.98 lbs/acre. (BIA Portion)
6,290 acres total @ 13.71 lbs/acre. (Private Portion – East Side)
627 acres total @ 13.75 lbs/acre. (Private Portion – West Side)
Some areas of this project may be delayed or removed, as seed and funding sources are in the approval process.
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Length of Contract: November 5th - November 19th (14 calendar days)
Vendor must guarantee its pricing for the duration of the contract.
