Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Type C Design Services

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

The 128th Air Refueling Wing Mission Support Contracting Office intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract to MEAD & HUNT, 14000 Quail Springs PKWY Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73134-2620, for Type C Design Services to the Designer of Record, see attached Sole Source Justification.

The authority for soliciting a single source for Type C Services is FAR 6.302- 1(a)(2)(iii), which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that services only available from the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized services.

The proposed contract action is Sole Source only.

In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposal. No solicitation will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 1:00 PM C.S.T, 6 June 2025. via email to mark.tonkinson.2@us.af.mil.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
