Amendment 1: While this vehicle was first built in 2019, the government sees value in updating this vehicle with newer technology and is receptive to proposals for upgraded models. These advancements are essential for ensuring the government maintains a current understanding of technological developments and can leverage them effectively. Attachment 2 has been updated to add a column to insert any proposed new technology.
Amendment 2: This amendment is to update Attachment 1 - Provisions and Clauses to make it accessible to the public.
Amendment 3: This amendment is to extend the date of quote submission to 22 August 2025.
The purpose of this acquisition is to streamline the method of procurement for Mixed Reality Integrated Training hardware. It was determined that a de-centralized BPA was the most appropriate contracting method, affording flexibility in end-product customization with greater control over individual contract actions. This method will significantly reduce acquisition planning lead time, resulting in faster mission capable mixed-reality integrated training device deployment times without compromising quality.
