The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This is a non-personal services contract to provide Maintenance and Repairs of Government owned clothing washers and dryers, gear washing stations, full sized refrigerators, and oven ranges aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii and its tenant commands at various locations across the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, parts and supplies, inspections, supervision and other items and nonpersonal services necessary as defined within this Performance Work Statement (PWS). A listing of washers, dryers, gear washing stations, full size refrigerators and oven ranges, by location, number, and type is provided at Technical Exhibit G. Replacement units will be supplied by the Government.
Repair work includes all work necessary to restore a defective appliance to operating condition in accordance with original equipment manufacturer standards. Replacement parts shall conform to the appliance manufacturer’s design requirements and shall provide comparable reliability and durability. Appliance repairs should be cleaned as stated in paragraph 7.9 within the repair process. Appliances shall be tested and ran through a full cycle of operation to ensure full operation to the appliance repaired. Full size refrigerators and oven ranges will not require repair services. Such appliances deemed dysfunctional will only be removed and
replaced with fully functional units of equal or greater specifications. Contractor shall remove and haul away replaced appliances.
The Contractor shall have enough spare common parts on hand, to support the repair of 12 simultaneous defective appliances. All non-consumable parts removed from appliances during repair/servicing shall be secured together, tagged, and identified by part number, name, quantity, work order number, make, model and serial number of the appliance, and turned in to the COR. The Contractor shall mark the following information on yellow tag, DD Form 1574: Work Order Number, date of repair, type of repair.
