Project Description: The City requires both a chip seal and slurry seal aggregate material that is 100 percent crushed stone, slag, or other high-quality particle or combination. Both materials need to be clean and free from organic matter or other detrimental substances with properties in accordance with the 2017 APWA manual of Standard Specifications. Between the combination of the two materials the City buys approximately 2,500 tons annually.
