Purchase and Installation of Chemical Controller System for the Splashpad

The City of Clermont is accepting quotes for the one-time purchase and installation of one (1) Chemtrol PC3000D Chemical Automation Controller with Automatic Backwash Capabilities for the City's Splash Pad. The project includes the purchase, delivery, installation, programming, startup, testing, and commissioning of the chemical automation system, associated automatic backwash controls, valves, valve actuators, and related components. The project also includes the removal and replacement of the existing concrete pad beneath the sand filters and onsite training for City personnel. The successful vendor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to provide a complete, fully operational system in accordance with the requirements of this Quote Request.

The existing chemical control equipment is being replaced to improve the efficiency, reliability, and monitoring of the Champions Splash Pad water treatment system. The upgraded system will support the Parks and Recreation Department in automating chemical monitoring and dosing, improving filtration operations, and remotely monitoring system performance to help maintain the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
