Texas WorkforceCommission (TWC) Appellate Services Division (ASD) conducts hearings forappealed unemployment claims and other agency related hearings. As a result of an interested party’s request, a large number of these hearings are conducted in a language other than English or Spanish. In addition,translators are regularly used to translate documents from English to anotherlanguage or vice versa. As a result, interpreter/translator is needed toprovide language services on a continuing, but potentially irregular basis.
Other departments within the TWC may utilize the services outlined in this RFP to meet theirinterpreting and/or translation requirements.
