Background
This project will be the Renovation of Building 12 at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The objective was to identify small businesses capable of performing this work in compliance with the project’s magnitude, scope, and specialized requirements. This contract involves the renovation of Building 12 to accommodate a high-performance computer server room. The scope includes: renovation of electrical and fire suppression systems, installation of a chilled water system, and provision of a new electrical generator.
Acquisition Strategy
This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside using a Best Value Trade-Off approach. This approach balances technical expertise, experience, and cost-effectiveness while maximizing small business participation.Based on this market research, the Government anticipates a Total Small Business Set-Aside using a Best Value Trade-Off approach. This approach balances technical expertise, experience, and cost-effectiveness while maximizing small business participation. The Government will evaluate the proposals in accordance with the Source Selection Criteria, and award a firm fixed price contract to the responsible firm, whose proposal conforms to all the terms and conditions of the solicitation and is fair and reasonable and offers the best overall value to the Government.
