The Housing Authority of the City of Beebe, Arkansas, hereinafter called the Public Housing Agency, or PHA will receive Bids For Remodel of Community Center building.
5 New Windows: White on interior, Dark Brown on exterior: Contractor furnish Energy Efficient vinyl windows.
(1) Double hung Kitchen: 35” x 52”
(2) X2 Slider windows-shop 65”x 50, Community room 65” x 52”
(3) X2 “3 Lite”: slider-office/Community room 128” x 52
Removal of old Windows, Caulking, and other applicable items. Frame-In Stud walls approximately 2’-5 ¾” tall at bottoms of newly installed energy efficient vinyl windows. Contractor to Furnish framing Materials.
Paint Exterior Brick: One coat of Primer and 2 coats of exterior Masonry Paint. Must be power washed and properly prepped prior to painting. Contractor to coordinate with client on material, color and styling. Client to Furnish Paint.
Remove and replace Approximately 405 Linear Feet of old Disjoined Metal Fascia with new Brown colored Fascia (match windows, gutters) Weather Light Aluminum Fascia. Contractor to Furnish Materials.
Replacement of all existing Exterior Siding with Metal Siding that looks like wood. And installation of same siding/trim on all lower framed-in areas. Contractor to coordinate with client on material, color and styling. Contractor to Furnish Materials.
Install New A.D.A Compliant front door and window combination-Including Handicapped Accessible Push Button Automatic Door Openers. Contractor to coordinate with client on material, color and styling. Brown Contractor to Furnish Materials.
Install Brown Color Gutters with Leaf Guard (must match Windows Fascia) Along all Specified Areas: Contractor to Furnish Materials.
Paint all Eves to match new fascia color: Contractor to Furnish Materials.
Mill, Remove, or Repair Front Porch Contrite in needed areas. Then Stain repaired concrete in front and back. Contractor to Furnish Materials.
Cedar Wrap 4” x 4” steel Porch Posts and overhead Beam. Replace or Paint damaged eaves as needed. Contractor to Furnish Materials.
Inside Work: Contractor must do their own measuring.
Frame in stud two large inside windows 105 sq ft, prep for Sheet Rock, Texture and Paint. Contractor to Furnish Materials
Frame in stud small window in office, install a standard white vinyl window 36” x 36”. Contractor to Furnish Materials
Frame in stud small opening at kitchen and drywall, texture paint. Contractor to Furnish Material
Sheet Rock over existing paneling, finish out, Texture and Paint est 2500 sq ft. Texture and paint existing sheet rocked ceiling and bathrooms, est 700 sq ft. Install sheet rock under windows. Contractor to coordinate with client color and styling. Est 2500 sq ft. Contractor must measure. Contractor to Furnish Materials. Client will supply Paint. Remove baseboards and replace with 4 ¼” baseboards and shoe round. Add 4 5/8” Crown Molding and Remove and replace Door and Window trim 2 ¼”. Paint white. Contractor to Furnish Materials
Remove and install wood flooring est 1200 sq ft.: Client will supply the flooring, contractor supply material to install.
Contractor to coordinate with client on material, color and styling. Drawing plans attached. But Contractor should do their own measuring. Contractor must be Licensed, Insured and Bonded and Contractor is responsible for all permits with City of Beebe.
Start accepting bids on November 12th, 2024, Sealed Bids will be opened December 4th , 2024 at 10:00am at 836 S. Apple St, Beebe, AR 72012.
All work must be completed by April 1st, 2025.
Any Bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Copies of bidding documents may be obtained from the PHA office at 836 S. Apple st, Beebe, AR 72012. Office hours are Monday thru Thursday, from 8:00am to 3:30pm.
All Bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the PHA, submitted in duplicate and submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked to sow the name and address of bidder, contract job number and date and time of bid opening. Bidder are required to have a Arkansas Contractor License. This is in accordance with Arkansas State Stature 71-701et.seq. Each bid submitted must contain the following items.
1. Bid Form, signed by bidder
2. A bid guarantee in an amount equal to (5) percent of the base bid. The Bid Guarantee can be in the form of a certified check or cashier’s check made payable to PHA, or a US Government bond endorsed to the PHA; or satisfactory bid bond executive by the bidder.
3. A non-Collusive Affidavit
4. Four (4) Reference on other Commercial jobs
5. Valid Arkansas Contractors License.
6. All warranties of equipment and services
7. Filled out form 5369-Instruction to bidders
8. Filled out HUD form 5369-A, Representations, Certifications and other statements
And HUD form 5370-ez, General Contract Conditions
9. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish an Arkansas Performance and Payment bond or Bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Bid for contracts that exceed $25,000.00.
10. The PHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids for a waive any informalities in the bidding.
11. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of Sixty (60) days subsequent t the opening for bids without the consent of the PHA. Bid Guarantees will be returned upon the sixtieth day.
