SFM- OFA- Non-IT- Mobile Search and Rescue Lab Trailer Build

The purpose of this Request for Proposal s (RFP) is to obtain Proposals from qualified public safety vendors who can meet a delivery time of November 1, 2026. Qualified vendors must meet deadline requirements for manufacturing, delivery, and final payment due to grant money being allocated and used for final payment.

1. Agreement Term : Two (SFY) Years (Contract effective date – June 30, 2027).

1. Project Period : The initial Contract period is expected to run from Contract award through June 30, 2027, with the possibility for two (2), two-year renewal Contracts through June 30, 2031, contingent upon satisfactory performance, continued availability of funding, and all required approvals. Renewals may be subject to approval by the Controlling Board.

The Ohio Department of Commerce, (COM) Division of State Fire Marshal (SFM) on behalf of the Ohio Fire Academy (OFA) is soliciting Proposals for a 53-foot air ride trailer with a raisable roof that includes a two-story search and rescue residential/apartment style firefighter training prop.
