Food Service for Carbon County Correctional Facility

Project Description: The County of Carbon will receive public bids via the PennBid Program until 10:30am, prevailing time, at which time bids will be opened with results displayed publicly on PennBid.
No hard copy or hand delivered submissions will be accepted.
The project known as “Food Service, Carbon County Correctional Facility” is a project to provide high quality food, service, and products in accordance with established nutritional and health standards to the Carbon County Correctional Facility located at 331 Broad St, Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania.
Complete contract documents for the described project are available at no cost via the PennBid program (www.pennbid.net) beginning, Thursday, April 10,2025.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Carbon County Correctional Facility, 331 Broad St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240 on April 22, 2025, beginning at 1:30PM.
Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount must accompany each bid in the form of either a certified check or a Bid Bond payable to the Owner: County of Carbon.
Bids will be opened at the Commissioners Meeting held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10:30AM prevailing time via the PennBid Program.
The award will be made, usually within thirty (30) days, to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder submitting a bid in the conformity with the specification. However, the County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
