Pursuant to Section 3-05 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board Rules, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) intends to enter into negotiations for a five-year agreement with PANASONIC CORPORATION OF NORTH AMERICA to procure 170 Panasonic Toughbook FZ-G2NZ- 10BM units. These rugged Toughbook devices are critical to the bureau's field operations, as they will provide food safety inspectors with the most up-to-date, durable, and reliable technology available.

DOHMH has determined that PANASONIC CORPORATION OF NORTH AMERICA is the sole authorized provider of the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK® As-a-Service (TaaS) subscription program. No distributers, resellers, or third-party vendors are either licensed or permitted to offer TOUGHBOOK As-a-Service technology subscription services.

Any firm that believes it can legally provide these services, is invited to submit an Expression of Interest directly to this RFI- EPIN 81627Y0862 no later than 8/31/2026 by 2:00PM.
