Description

The Defense Finance and Account Services Contract Services Directorate is seeking sources for the procurement and installation of 2 replacement high volume water pumps.



A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached.



A Market Research Price Template is attached.



The ideal provider will have verifiable experience and expertise in Installation and Replacement of Drop-In Water Pumps for the Department of Defense. Requirements include:




  1. Procurement and installation of two (2) new pumps to replace current chilled hot water pumps in Building 21A. The new pumps must be suitable as “drop-in” replacements of the existing (i.e., no rework to piping and/or foundations is required). Pumps must meet the current industry standard electrical efficiency requirements. All pumps must be installed and fully operational within 90 days from contract award. The pumps shall be installed and tested in a manner to prevent disruptions to the heating and/or cooling of buildings and their occupants.

  2. The vendor will clean and prepare the area for the placement of the new pumps on existing pads.

  3. Provide and install new concrete anchors.

  4. Furnish and install new piping for pump dimensional changes CW, Cond. Piping, Electrical, per best practices.

  5. New condenser pump can be approximately 1.53” lower than existing with minor width changes.

  6. New chilled water pump can be 1.43” lower than existing with minor width changes

  7. The vendor will provide lazar alignment for the new pumps after securing the base frame to the pads.

  8. The vendor will provide all pressure differential piping and install new piping insulation to match existing.

  9. Vendor will conduct new equipment testing and start up with a qualified technician and provide reports and documents to the owner.

  10. The vendor will provide a 1-year labor warranty on installation from time of completion.
