1.0 DESCRIPTION
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics (OPAL) Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC), on behalf of VHA, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with the FAR 10.002(b)(2) to determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified sources. The Period of Performance will be from date of award for a base period of 12 months with four 12-month option periods.

The SAC in conjunction with VHA is seeking a qualified source to provide A-dec® (Brand Name only) Dental Delivery Units and Chairs on an agency wide basis. VA intends to award a Single Award Requirement Contract with Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) orders IAW FAR 16.503 to suppliers of this equipment. Vendors will be required to deliver Dental Delivery Units and Chairs to VA medical centers and facilities located in the Continental United Status (CONUS) or Outside of Continental United Status (OCONUS). Delivery requirements shall be specified under each individual order.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339114 Dental Equipment and Supplies Manufacturing and the associated size standard is 750 employees. The FAR Provision found at 52.204-7(b)(1) requires that All interested Offerors must be registered in SAM prior to submitting an offer or quotation. You may access the SAM website at SAM.gov | Home. All offerors must be certified with the appropriate NAICS code on the SAM website. All SDVOSB/VOSB offerors must be verified in the SBA database at: https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/#search at the time of quote submission.

2.0 SCOPE
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Non-Expendable Equipment National Program has identified the A-dec® Dental Delivery Units and Chairs product line as a candidate for a VA-wide (otherwise referred to as national ) single Requirements contract award.
Dental Units and Chairs facilitate dental examination, treatment, and/or minor surgical procedures performed in dental clinics.
The A-dec 511B dental chair is uniquely designed to meet the complex physical needs of the Veteran population, particularly the 69.5% who experience spinal and musculoskeletal disabilities. These conditions often limit mobility, flexibility, and the ability to tolerate traditional dental seating positions. What sets the A-dec 511B apart is its exceptionally low base-down position, which adjusts down to 13.5 inches from the floor. This low-height capability is a critical feature in the VA clinical setting. It enables easier and safer transfers from wheelchairs, mobility devices, or standing positions reducing the risk of falls or strain on both patients and clinical staff. Additionally, the chair s adjustability supports optimal ergonomic positioning for providers while maintaining patient comfort and safety. For Veterans with limited range of motion, spinal fusion, degenerative joint disease, or postural instability, the chair's low entry point and smooth articulation greatly enhance their ability to access dental care with dignity and minimal discomfort. In essence, the A-dec 511B enhances clinical accessibility, safety, and treatment quality, making it a vital component in a modern VA dental operatory equipped to serve a population with high rates of physical disability.

The Contractor must provide an authorized distributor letter with their response. The objective is to provide A-dec® brand to Dental Delivery Units and Chairs to be used by clinicians throughout the VA medical centers and facilities. The period of performance is for a base of 12-months with four 12-month option periods.

Dental Chairs and Delivery Units must have an integrated LED light that can be chair mounted and has a touchless sensor option, with auto turn-on and at least two intensity settings and a cure safe mode light setting
Literature Review
For each product (brand name and part number), the response must include descriptive literature demonstrating the product meets or exceeds the salient characteristics (SC) specified above.
The Government's intent is to include all ancillary items to ensure the A-dec® Dental Delivery Units and Chairs (Brand name only) can function as designed by the OEM and as clinically required.
Vendors are encouraged to provide any product solution or configuration so long as they meet the salient characteristics. Additionally, responses can include any additional product that may be beneficial. These items must be clearly identified by brand name and part number.
Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall include the following:

Manufacturer or Distributor
If Distributor provide full name, business size and address of manufacturer.
Distributors must be authorized as certified by the OEM with a current date.
Third-party Distributors will be ineligible for award.

Technical Literature that clearly shows product(s) meet the identified salient characteristics and page numbers where each salient characteristic is met
Any additional product solution or configuration that would be beneficial to the clinical functionality of the product line identified.
Any options for trade-in of existing equipment
Although not required, vendors responding to this Sources Sought may also submit a Capabilities Statement.
