Scope of Services
This project consists of the construction of airside and landside civil site work, electrical, power, fiber, and utility improvements to support the Parcel 8 Airpark Development area on the Kissimmee Gateway Airport on Dyer Blvd. This project also includes a medium intensity taxiway lighting system, upgrading the system’s constant current regulator, vault work, cable and duct markers, junction bases, ground rods, and other electrical items necessary to meet FAA and FDOT standards. All work included is necessary to support the proposed aircraft hangar and client delivery center structures (constructed by others). This project includes but is not limited to all the supporting utilities required such as sanitary and storm sewer, potable water and fire service mains, hydrants, automatic security access gates, controllers, FAA security fencing, landscaping, irrigation, excavations, site lighting, marking, striping, signage, sidewalks, pavements, turfing, retaining walls, oil interceptors, and other civil site works. After Monday July 14 2025, Bid Documents will be available electronically at no charge and may be obtained by contacting Sue Finney, Email: sfinney@avconinc.com Phone: (407) 599-1122. Hard copies will not be provided. Bidders must be registered through AVCON, INC. to be eligible to submit a Bid for the project. A complete examination of the site and understanding of the drawings and specifications contained in the Bid Documents is necessary in order for the Bidder to properly submit a Bid. The Bid Documents also include a detailed set of Instructions to Bidders. All Bids shall be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The failure to comply with any requirement contained in the Bid Documents may result in the rejection of the Bid as nonresponsive or a finding that the Bidder is not qualified for this Project. All questions regarding Bid Documents should be addressed to AVCON, INC., attention Sue Finney at sfinney@avconinc.com. Do not contact the Airport or the City. The deadline for questions is August 7, 2025 at 5 pm Eastern. The final Addendum will be issued not later than August 8, 2025, 5 pm Eastern, as necessary. A site visit will be held July 24, 2025 @ 10 AM. Please meet at Airport Admin Building located at 401 Dyer Boulevard, Kissimmee, FL 34741.
