This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06 (effective 06/10/2021). This competitive solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees.
Contractor is required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and Small Business Administration (SBA). SDVOSB & VOSB contractors are also required to be active in and shall be verified in VetCert. Quotes may be considered non-compliant and rejected if the Contracting Officer is unable to verify active registration status.
The John L. McClellan VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to furnish a Motorola GTR 800 or Brand Name Equivalent VHF Radio System for state-wide emergency radio communication with the attached (VHF) GTR8000Radio Requirement/Salient Characteristics and Statement of Work.
