Scope of Work: To provide all labour and equipment necessary to perform hydro-vac services for the replacement of existing services to customers as identified by SaskEnergy as part of the Service Upgrade Program (upgrading natural gas distribution system including the service to main connections).
SaskEnergy construction crews will be self-performing the service upgrade program but requires dedicated hydro-vac services in relation to the non-destructive excavation of buried pipes and other underground facilities through the application of water and vacuum devices.
The majority of the work is to take place in well established residential areas within Regina and Saskatoon where access/space is limited (i.e. back alley’s, lanes, backyards etc.) and suitable sized equipment will be required to complete the work. Locations outside of Regina and Saskatoon may be required from time to time.
