The work to be done consists of the following work as indicated on the Contract Drawings and the
Specifications.  Condensing Unit Replacement Project at the Swampscott Senior Center includes the removal of a
dedicated air-cooled condensing unit and associated DX-Coil within the existing Air Handling Unit
(AHU-2), and all associated refrigerant piping, electrical connections, controls and appurtenances.
A new VRF heat pump condensing unit will be installed on the low roof and piped a new VRF
Refrigerant R-410a coil will be installed in AHU-2. New VRF system components including
controllers, expansion kits, and sensors, and new refrigerant piping. The new heat pump will be
powered from existing electrical panels located in room S-A205.
