Invitation to Bid through Seal Bid for Playground Equipment

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners are selling the following playground equipment through the seal bid process:

1. Jones Creek Park (Isle of Wight Road)
2. Briar Bay Park (Barrington-Ferry Road)
3. Jesse Stevens Park (US Hwy 84 & Lewis-Frasier)

Photos of the playground equipment can be found on the County’s website, and any interested party may go to the above road to review and inspect the equipment. The bidder may bid on a single playground equipment or additional playground equipment. The County will award the playground equipment to the highest bidder. The successful bidder will be responsible for removing all pieces of the equipment from the site.

Any person interested in bidding may secure a bidding form from the Liberty County Recreation Department [607 East Oglethorpe Highway/Hinesville, GA] (Monday-Friday, 9a.m. to 5p.m.) between Monday, June 23 ^rd and Friday, July 11 ^th , 2025. All bids are to be marked “Playground Equipment- (name of park)” and submitted to the attention of Joseph Mosley, County Administrator, the Liberty County Board of Commissioners at 112 North Main Street, Hinesville, GA 31313 (physical address) or by mailing the bid(s) to 100 North Main Street, Suite 1320, Hinesville, GA 31313. All bids must be received by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025. All seal bids will be opened at 2:00p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Liberty County Annex-Commissioner Chambers/112 North Main Street/Hinesville, GA 31313.
