The Illinois State Police (ISP) is seeking quotes for two outdoor signs - one to be placed at the Illinois State Police Pawnee Range (Range), located at 2376 Academy Road, Pawnee, IL 62558, and the other to be placed at the Illinois State Police Division of Academy and Training (DAT), located at 3700 East Lake Shore Drive, Springfield, IL 62707.
The signs should be non-illuminated, single-sided, monument-style signs, similar to the existing sign at the DAT. A picture of the existing sign at DAT is attached. All materials to be used must be all-weather materials/weather-proofed.
State of Illinois personnel will be responsible for the removal of the existing signs at both locations. The vendor is responsible for the delivery and installation of each sign, including any equipment rental and supplies. These costs must be factored into the bid price. Any landscaping needs are the responsibility of the State of Illinois. Any necessary building permits are the responsibility of the vendor.
A mandatory walk-through will be held and will include travel to both sites. Site visit is mandatory and scheduled for Wed March 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM (CST) at Illinois State Police Academy: 3700 East Lake Shore Drive, Springfield, IL 62712. Any quote that is submitted by a vendor who did not attend the mandatory walk-through will not be considered. Failure to attend, arriving late or leaving early will disqualify from submitting a bid. Please check BidBuy for the date and time of the mandatory walk-through.
The Agency requests the vendor submit a scope of work, including a rendering of their proposed signs, with their quote. If the scope of work and rendering of the proposed signs are not included with the quote, one must be provided prior to procurement award. ISP reserves the right to reject all quotes or to reject individual quotes for failure to meet any requirement.
Winning vendor will be selected based on low quote total. Individual items will not be awarded separately. All work to be performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Vendor agrees to hold their quote firm for 90 days after the Procurement Opening Date. All work must be started prior to June 30, 2025 and then completed and invoiced by August 15, 2025.
