Summary:The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from engineering consulting firms who wish to be considered to provide program support services related to the Norris Bridge Replacement project. Work will consist of project management, development of conceptual plans, technical requirements, and related documents for Design-Build procurement, support during Design-Builder selection, plan reviews, analysis of cost data, development of independent estimates, reconciliation of quantity and costs differences, development of reports and accurate cost projections, compliance with federal/state statutes covering improvements and support of construction activities and documents in accordance with the Departments’ minimum requirements for QA/QC, administration and support in civil rights compliance, construction project management, construction project controls, public affairs, communications, and Transportation Management Plan (TMP).
The proposed fixed billable rate contract will have a maximum value of $60,000,000 for the life-cycle of the contract.
