Solicitation Summary
The Office of Information Technology
SNI is requesting the purchase of replacement failed drives for the Xcellis storage arrays currently supporting critical archive data.
Replacing the drives will continue to maintain the integrity, performance, and reliability of the storage infrastructure. The array is currently operating in a degraded state, which significantly increases the risk of data loss. Failure to replace the drives will result in loss of redundancy, increase risk of data corruption or permanent data loss. In addition, extended recovery time if additional failures occur and disruptions to user accessing their data. Please note that replacing the failed drives will allow the storage array to rebuild and restore full redundancy.
