Project Description: The City of Brownsville has been awarded Surface Transportation Block Grant – Metropolitan Mobility funds and is issuing a Solicitation for Sealed Bids for a construction contract associated with 5G Infrastructure deployment throughout the City. The project aims to build a 5G Wireless infrastructure to connect the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) throughout the City. The City of Brownsville Private 5G(P5G) Deployment Projects includes the planning, design, installation, configuration, testing, optimization, and integration of a Private 5G wireless network across eighty (80) locations throughout the City of Brownsville (COB), Texas.
