General Transit Feeds Specification (GTFS) and Alert Services

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is seeking proposals from professional contractors to assist with the creation, distribution, and management of service alerts, as well as the validation of General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) files. The GTFS and Alert System must support the real-time updating of alerts, ensuring that riders receive the most up-to-date information about their route and service status.

The Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that VTA’s service disruptions are communicated effectively to passengers in a timely and accurate manner, and for validating the quality, accuracy, and compliance of all GTFS data files with transit standards.
