REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
Architectural Services
Multi-Use Police and Fire Training Facility
The City of Maumelle, Arkansas is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from
qualified firms interested in providing architectural services for the development and
construction of a multi-use Police and Fire Training Facility.
The proposed project includes the planning, designing, and full architectural services for a public
safety training facility consisting generally of the following components:
Live-fire burn tower meeting National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards
Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training (CLEST) Compliant Rifle and
pistol qualification range
300 x 300 concrete driving pad for emergency vehicle operations training
Classroom facility capable of accommodating approximately 50 to 60 occupants
Associated site work, utilities, drainage, parking, security, and infrastructure
improvements
The selected firm will provide safety compliance, and project closeout services.
Interested firms should demonstrate experience with public safety facilities, municipal
construction projects, site development, and collaboration with construction management
services.
Firms must be properly licensed and bonded in the State of Arkansas.

Resumes of key personnel
References for similar projects
Safety record and OSHA history
Financial capability
Any additional support information relevant to the project
