Bid Type: Request for Proposal Locations: Windsor Keywords: Construction (Building), Landscaping Bid Description: The Town of Woodstock, VT, is accepting bids from qualified excavation contractors to provide site preparation, grading, drainage installation, and backfilling for the elevation of an existing two-story, 1,644 sq. ft. residential structure. This project is part of a federally funded flood mitigation effort under the FY23 Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Swift Current Program. The home is located within the Ottauquechee River Special Flood Hazard Area and will be elevated approximately 8 feet by a separate house lifting contractor. Excavation work must be coordinated with the Town, property owners, and other trades (house lifting, concrete/foundation, framing) to ensure proper sequencing and minimal delays.
