Pursuant to Chapt er 193 of the Acts of 2004, the Town of Needham through its Permanent Public Building Committee, requests qualifications from General Contractors and trade contractors for the Needham Fleet Maintenance Facility, 1421 Central Avenue  Needham MA 02492. The Awarding Authority invites pre-qualifications, pursuant to M. G. L. Chapter 149, Sections 44D1/2 of General Contractors and Section 44D3/4 of trade contractors. The estimated cost of construction is: $16,250,000.  The following are the sub-trades for which qualification packages are being requested:

Masonry, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Waterproofing, Damp-proofing, Caulking Painting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning, Electrical

This request for qualifications (RFQ) will be used to pre-qualify General Contractors and trade contractors who will be invited to submit bids pursuant to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149 as amended by Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004.
