This was a procurement for a commercially available, highly mobile, all-terrain amphibious personnel carrier, a dedicated amphibious trailer and 5-year maintenance services to support all-terrain operations in extreme Arctic conditions. The vehicle must accommodate 8 passengers, weigh under 6,500 lbs, and feature hydrostatic steering and transmission for winter and amphibious
operations. It will have a 74 HP 4-cylinder diesel engine (no DEF required), meeting EPS Tier 4 Final EU Stage V emissions standards, and joystick steering. Performance includes towing 2,200 lbs, climbing 35° inclines, and operating on 22° sidehills. The vehicle includes an Arctic weather package with heaters, ventilation fans, and studded tires.
