Warren County Jail Roof Rehabilitation

Bids for the Warren County Jail Roof Rehabilitation project consisting mainly of demolition and disposal of the existing membrane roof system to include membrane, damaged insulation, flashing and roof penetration boots and the installation of a complete new membrane roof system will be received by the Warren County Commissioners until 11 a.m. on Aug. 21, 2025.Â

The bids will be opened during a public meeting to be held on that date at noon at the Warren County Courthouse

All bids must be submitted through the PennBid at pennbid.net by that date and time. Design and contract documents are available for download on PennBid.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on Aug. 6, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Warren County Courthouse, 204 Fourth Ave., Warren, Pa., 16365.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order o the Warren County Commissioners or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the contract as awarded will be required as security for faithful performance of the contract.

The successful contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin or handicap.

The Warren County Commissioners reserve the right, as its interests may require, to reject any and all proposals or waive any formalities or technicalities.
