The Gulf Beach Booster Station was originally constructed in the 1960's. The facility is due for a complete rehabilitation to meet current industry and operational standards. The recent Water System Master Plan identified improvements to this booster station as a priority to address overall condition, performance, and increase resiliency of the facility to meet operational expectations and current industry standards. The County has recently undergone multiple water quality improvement and booster station upgrade projects starting at the north end of the County and working its way downstream to the south. The Gulf Beach Water Booster Station is the next location within the Pinellas County Capital Improvement Program scheduled for upgrades.
