Scope of Work:
At Lloyd Diedrichsen Elementary School, replace existing interior hallway drinking fountain with new bottle-filling /drinking fountain combination unit, and remove and cap all exterior drinking fountains.
At Greenbrae Elementary School, remove and cap all exterior drinking fountains, replace existing exterior hose bibbs with new hose bibbs, and new isolation ball valves with access panels, replace all interior hallway fountains with new bottle-filling station or a bottle-filling /drinking fountain combination unit, and install new bottle-filling/drinking fountain combination unit in Multipurpose Room.
At Archie Clayton Middle School, replace interior hallway drinking fountains with new bottle-filling station or a bottle-filling bottle fill combo fixtures, remove and cap all exterior drinking fountains.
It is WCSD's opinion that the scope of work for this project qualifies for the following license groups: Specialty License C1, if the bidder is performing the majority of the work per NRS 338.139.
If a Contractor would like to seek clarification from the Nevada State Contractor’s Board, then they must do so ten (10) days prior to the bid due date. https://www.nvcontractorsboard.com/
Sealed bids for the Replacement of the Drinking Fountains and Hose Bibbs at Three (3) Washoe County School District Schools will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on August 10, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).

There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting held at 1:00 p.m. on July 27, 2026, at Archie Clayton Middle School (Meet in Front of the Office) 1295 Wyoming Ave, Reno, NV 89503.
Due to access and coordination involved in this project we highly recommend that contractors walk the project site that we are making available.
