(USNA Marine Navigation Radar, AIS, and Communications Equipment)



The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract for navigation and communication equipment. This is synopsis for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The requirement covers the performance requirements for NAVSUP FLC Norfolk.



The requirement will be solicited on 05 August 2026. The supplies that will be procured consists of the following: The United States Naval Academy (USNA) is looking to procure commercial marine navigation, radar, Automatic Identification System (AIS), communications, and supporting network equipment for installation aboard Yard Patrol (YP) Vessels. Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in beta.SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award.



The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is: 334511 – Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The product service code (PSC) is 6605 – Navigational Instruments



The delivery date is prior to 30 September 2026.
