The County of Los Angeles, through its Department of Economic Opportunity, is issuing this Request for Proposals to solicit qualified Proposers to provide comprehensive Employee and Worker Ownership Initiative (EWOI), Technical Assistance and Educational Services. EWOI is a countywide effort designed to expand access to wealth-building opportunities, preserve local businesses at risk of closure or succession challenges, and promote long-term job stability for workers. The EWOI provides coordinated Marketing and Outreach, Technical Assistance and Education, and Financing Services to help entrepreneurs, workers, and business owners understand, pursue, and successfully implement employee and worker ownership models across Los Angeles County.
