    LEGAL NOTICE
    Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Mayor, Kevin Corcoran, for the City of North
    Ridgeville, 7307 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039, until 11:00 AM local time,
    April 23, 2026, and will be opened and read immediately thereafter for:
    POLYMER
    Bids must be in accordance with the bid specifications and bidders are required to use the
    hard copy or digital forms which are available from French Creek Wastewater Treatment
    Plant, located at 2350 Abbe Road, Sheffield, Ohio 44054, phone number 440-934-5251
    or email: salberts@nridgeville.gov. The email should have the chemical name in the
    subject line. Checks shall be made payable to City of North Ridgeville at a non-refundable
    cost of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for the bid specifications at the time of the order.
    (Plus, postage fees at buyersexpense).
    A bid guaranty shall be filed with the bid pursuant to ORC 153.54: Either a bond for the full
    amount of the bid or a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent
    (10%) of the bid and shall be made payable to “City of North Ridgeville, Ohio,” drawn on a
    solvent bank, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and
    performed. Bid Bonds and Checks accompanying rejected bids will be returned upon award of
    the contract.
    Sealed bids must be marked on the front of the envelope “POLYMER.”
    Bidders shall list, on a separate sheet of paper labeled with bidder’s name, any variations from,
    or exceptions to, the conditions and specifications of this bid. This sheet shall be labeled
    “EXCEPTIONS TO BID CONDITIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS” and shall be attached to the bid.
    Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons
    interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar
    size and complexity. This list shall include Project Name, Project Owner, Project Location, and
    a short description of the project.
    The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Supply Contract Bond in the amount as
    noted in the Specifications.
    The City of North Ridgeville, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any
    variations in the specifications and any irregularities in bidding, and to accept the lowest and
    best bid.
