Description

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) plans to purchase the J-100 compact Circular Dichroism Spectropolarimeter and Spectra Manager software from JASCO Inc.

To the research team’s knowledge, the continuous scan mode is exclusive to JASCO allowing significantly faster data acquisition speed. Scanning on the JASCO system can be set to as fast as 10,000nm/minute for rapid spectral scans. Fast measurement speeds allow faster data acquisition but is also critical for wavelength scans during thermal ramping experiments where the sample structure can quickly change due to elevated temperatures.
