Ben Root Skate Park Restroom & Parking Lot Project

The City of Anacortes will accept sealed bids online for “Ben Root Skate Park Restroom & Parking Lot Project #25-136-PRK-004” until 3:00 p.m., local time on July 22, 2026, when bids will be publicly opened and read through Zoom. The City will not consider bids received after that time and date. Sealed Bids are to be submitted online to City of Anacortes eProcurement portal, Bonfire, at https://anacortes.bonfirehub.com no later than due date and time listed in solicitation document. All Bids and Proposal will be electronically date and time stamped as they are submitted. Bids cannot be accepted if submitted by hard copy, mail, facsimile, or e-mail.

Project Description: This Contract provides for a new parking lot and installation of an owner-procured restroom facility adjacent to Ben Root Skatepark. The improvements include, but are not specifically limited to, clearing and grubbing, sub-grade preparation, asphalt paving, curb & gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, pavement markings, sanitary sewer, domestical water service, electrical service, and other miscellaneous items as further shown, described and indicated in the Contract Documents, and other work all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications.

Bid Deposit: Bidders must submit a bid deposit equal to 5 percent of the bid amount. The deposit may be in cashier’s check, postal money order, or surety bond. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the work, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.

Engineer’s Estimate: $382,000.00
