Description
As part of Shared Services Canada’s (SSC) commitment to fostering strong relationships with vendors, industry associations, and organizations within the information technology (IT) sector, SSC is releasing the Request for Information (RFI) for the upcoming International LAN Services RFP.

2. The primary goal of this RFI is to allow the industry to review and provide feedback to SSC. Feedback can be submitted via P2P. All responses must be received by the closing date.

3. Shared Services Canada (SSC) may use the feedback provided by the industry to refine the current requirements or to finalize the RFP document. Please note that the publication of this RFI does not obligate SSC to release an official RFP, award a contract, or engage in any legal commitments or agreements with the industry.
4. Shared Services Canada (SSC) reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any comments received. Furthermore, SSC will not reimburse the costs incurred by industry members to participate in the review of the draft RFI, nor any activity related to the consultation process.
5. The International LAN Services RFP resulting from this solicitation will serve as the standard for future similar SSC and Client International LAN Services requirements for the lifecycle of the equipment involved, which is expected to span the next 7 to 10 years.
6. Shared Services Canada (SSC)will not responses to any industry feedback submitted during this process.
