Project Description:
The project is located at J. Edward Roush Lake in Indiana. Required (base) construction work includes the demolition of the existing rock ballast roof covering for the water intake control tower and installation of approximately 670 SF fleece-back thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof cover system. Additional work (options) includes replacing the following roof components: electrical conduit (mounted along the parapets), and one boiler stack. The control tower is centrally located on the Roush Lake Dam along State Route 5 (Warren Road). This road is managed by INDOT; the contractor is not authorized to close the route and/or establish traffic control measures during the project unless proper permissions and permits are acquired through the state at the cost of the contractor. Contracted personnel must be trained, certified, and equipped for fall safety operations in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 standards.DARDS.
