Eastern Avenue Widening and Signal Modification Project

The City of Davenport is accepting bids from qualified contractors for the Eastern Avenue Widening and Signal Modification Project. This project is located south of the Eastern Avenue and 29th Street intersection. The project will widen the roadway south of the intersection to create a dedicated left-turn lane and a separate northbound through lane. Traffic signals will be upgraded to accommodate the new lane configuration, including the installation of new signals, wiring, video detection equipment, controller equipment, handholes, and related infrastructure. The proposed roadway improvements include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for concrete pavement widening, sidewalks and accessible curb ramps, replacement of driveway approach aprons, topsoil and sod restoration, pavement markings, and erosion

control measures.
