NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Housing Rehabilitation Program Single and Multi- Family
The Community Development Office will be accepting bids for the rehabilitation of the
following single-family and multi- family residences:
1. East Main St.- roofing and general construction
2. Sproat St.- roofing and mold remediation
Basic work consists of General Construction. Any plumbing or electrical work performed in
the City of Middletown MUST be completed by a licensed City of Middletown plumber or
electrician. Contractors must have Certification of Completion of Lead Safe Work Practices
** and EPA /RRP Certification. Mold Remediation must be completed by a certified Mold
Technician.
Specifications and information for bidders are available at the Office of Economic and
Community Development, 16 James Street, 3rd Floor, Middletown, NY 10940, Monday thru
Friday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Phone (845)-346-4170.
The Pre-Bid meeting to be held on Monday July 13, 2026 beginning at 3:00pm is mandatory.
Precise locations will be included in the bid packets.
Bids are due on Monday July 20, 2026 at 4:00pm.
The public bid opening will be held in the Community Development Office located at City
Hall, 16 James Street, 3rd Floor, Middletown, NY 10940 on Thursday July 20, 2026 at 4pm.
We reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
