The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish an annual requirements contract to a qualified and experienced contractor to provide comprehensive services related to the maintenance and performance of Fire Sprinkler Systems and Fire Pumps at multiple City of Arlington owned facilities. This RFP aims to establish a partnership with a single contractor for ongoing services including, but not limited to, annual testing, certification, alignment, and repair of Fire Sprinkler Systems and Fire Pumps.
The primary objective is to ensure that all fire protection systems are operating at peak efficiency and in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. This will include regular inspections and testing to verify system performance and safety. Additionally, the selected contractor will be responsible for repairing any deficiencies or malfunctions that may be identified during the inspection process or that occur during the service life of these systems. Repairs and maintenance may be required to address wear and tear, as well as compliance with any new regulatory or safety standards.
The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this RFP electronically. If submitting a paper proposal, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late proposals will not be accepted.
