PEACH COUNTY WATER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS

The Fort Valley Utility Commission (FVUC) is seeking Sealed proposals for the construction of new water supply wells, elevated water storage tank, water treatment plants, and water mains located along Fulwood Road and River Road in Peach County, GA. Sealed Proposals will be accepted at the Fort Valley Utility Commission, in the Meeting Room, 500 Anthoine Street, Fort Valley, Georgia 31030 until 10:00 AM, July 30, 2025, atwhich time they will be opened publicly. Peach County Water Infrastructure Improvements: River Road Water Treatment Plant and InterconnectionThe scope of work in Division I includes construction of a new water treatment plant along River Road in Peach County, GA. Work shall consist of permitting, clearing, grassing, earthwork, grading, erosion control, gravel access road, landscaping, fencing, painting, chemical treatment equipment, equipment building, electrical components, SCADA, piping, fittings, valves, and all necessary material, labor, and appurtenances associated with a new water treatment plant as shown on the plans and in the specifications. This work also includes the interconnection between the existing 18¿ raw water main and the existing 8¿ water main, including all necessary material, labor, and appurtenances. The scope of work in Division II includes construction of a new water treatment plant, one(1) new 1,500 gallon per minute (GPM) potable water supply well adjacent to GA Hwy 49/PeachParkway in Peach County, GA. -one (1) new 1,500 GPM gravel-packed well, wellhead piping, well building,connection to elevated storage tank, paintingA Pre¿Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Fort Valley Utility Commission, in the Meeting Room, 500 Anthoine Street, FV, Georgia 31030. Following the Pre¿Bid Conference will be a visit to the Project site. The Pre¿Bid Conference is not mandatory for the potential Bidders. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.
