Overview
Summary

The City of Hialeah is requesting proposals from parties capable of providing a full scope of Children’s General or Specialty Camps including but not limited marketing, collecting patron registration and payments, creating program curriculum/syllabus, program scheduling within provided time windows, staffing, supplies, and ensuring compliance with any and all applicable state and federal laws.

Background

The City of Hialeah's Department of Parks and Community Engagement is seeking proposals for a range of camp services aimed at providing enriching recreational options for youth during school breaks. The following categories outline the types of camps desired:

  1. General Camps: These camps will offer a diverse array of recreational activities and events, catering to a wide range of interests without focusing on a single sport or category.

  2. Specialty Camps: These camps will concentrate on a specific area of focus, delivering in-depth instruction and engagement in one particular subject or activity. For instance, a baseball camp would exclusively target skills and knowledge related to the sport of baseball.

  3. Extended Care Program: This optional program will provide parents and guardians with the convenience of earlier drop-off and later pick-up times at an additional cost, ensuring flexibility for busy families.

  4. Curriculum: Each camp, whether General or Specialty, will require a well-defined curriculum that outlines the content and instructional plan to be implemented.

The types of camps offered may include, but are not limited to, general camps, sports camps, performing arts camps, swim camps, and esports camps. By providing these opportunities, the Department aims to enhance the recreational and developmental experiences of youth in the community during periods when school is not in session.
