Public Notice Software

A firm to provide a full-service, digital self-publication notice software solution that provides citizens with information about important activities. The software platform shall manage the publication of public notices, to include but not limited to streamlining the process, legal compliance, easy to use, centralized management and proof-of-publication for Seminole County Board of County Commissioners, Seminole County, Florida.

With the passing of HB 7049 in 2023, FS 50.0311 allowed for the publication of advertisements and public notices on a publicly accessible website and governmental access channels. Florida Statutes 50.0311 (3) states “ A governmental agency may use the publicly accessible website of the county in which it lies to publish legally required advertisements and public notices if the cost of publishing advertisements and public notices on such website is less than the cost of publishing advertisements and public notices in a newspaper.” It is estimated that Seminole County will spend approximately $60,000 annually. In September of 2024, the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners directed staff to solicit and procure a software solution that will allow the County to comply with the Statute and publish public hearing notices on the County website.
