On or about 3 June 2025, the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to issue a synopsis for an Unrestricted Roadways and Railways Architect-Engineering (A-E) design services Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with a target of five (5) firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDCs) Unrestricted awards for a total of $179M in shared capacity. These Architect-Engineering (A-E) Services are for preparations of studies, analysis, and design services for Roadways and Railways projects to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Military Installations worldwide as part of the Transportation Systems Mandatory Center of Expertise (TS – MCX), under NAICS 541330. The Government will limit task orders under this MATOC to firm-fixed price (FFP). This MATOC will have a five (5) year performance period (one 5-year base period, and no option period).
These IDCs will include design and engineering services that include preparation of plans, specifications, and design analysis for the direct design of railroads, roadway pavements, bridges, and specialized railroad support facilities; inspection and maintenance recommendations for railroad tracks and bridges; field and laboratory testing of existing railroad/pavement subgrades; roadway inspections and the use/training of personnel on PAVER Engineering Management Systems for roadways; site investigations, studies, inspections, load ratings, concept design, and construction railroads and vehicular pavements; and development/updating of transportation systems engineering criteria in support of the TS – MCX.
