Bid #25064 - Mill Road Over Carman's River Culvert Replacement - Rebid

Remove and replace the existing partitioned culvert system at the Carman’s River with a single span culvert to improve the existing structural condition of the culvert, realign Mill Road to eliminate the existing grade difference between the eastbound and westbound lanes, improve drainage infrastructure and expand pedestrian access along the southbound side of Mill Road.

This project is funded by New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) grant monies and as such is subject to the standards of the granting agency.

The Town of Brookhaven has established Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (SDVOB) participation goals for this project in accordance with Appendix B of the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Bridge NY Culvert Local Project Agreement (Contract no. D040284/ PIN #0761.48) and updated by Engineering Instruction EI 24-025, as follows:

CONTRACT GOALS
7% MBE, 11% WBE, 6% SDVOB

The contractor shall make, and document, all good faith efforts made to achieve the MWBE and SDVOB goals. Additionally, all responders must complete and submit the MWBE and SDVOB Utilization Plans found at the end of this bid document under NYS MWBE AND SDVOB GUIDELINES AND FORMS. Failure to submit the required MWBE and SDVOB Utilization Plans may result in the rejection of your bid.
