Transportation Planning & Community Engagement Services On-Call Solicitation

Project Description: The city is seeking to establish on-call professional services contracts to support transportation planning and community engagement services that advance the Strategic Mobility Plan. Qualified consultants will provide technical expertise and capacity in one or more of the following service areas: transportation planning and preliminary engineering, bicycle and active transportation planning and design, transportation safety and Vision Zero planning, and outreach, communications, and engagement. Firms are encouraged to apply based on their area of expertise and are not required to offer services across all categories. Services may be delivered through an embedded consultant model in which consultant staff work alongside city staff on specific programs or functional areas within the department. This contract will support the city's ability to identify, evaluate, prioritize, and advance transportation plans, programs, and projects as Charlotte manages a 30-year, $5.7 billion transportation investment program funded in part through the transportation sales tax.
