Your firm is invited to submit a bid on the following work:
The Education Building E3 (freight) elevator will be modernized and requires electrical upgrades. The work in general includes replacement and addition of elevator shaft and machine room lighting with LED fixtures, installing new GFCI receptacles, upgrading distribution feeders, disconnect switches and branch circuitry, and providing new branch circuits and switches for cab and pit lighting. Modifications to the fire alarm system includes modification to existing relay modules, addition of relay modules for alternate homing and fire hat functions, and installing required smoke detectors and a VESDA aspirating smoke detection system. As this work is concurrent with the scope of the elevator contractor, it is expected that all work is coordinated with the elevator contract in terms of scope and schedule. All work is to be compliant with not only the applicable codes & standards, but also the University of Regina’s Standards.
Tenders will be received at the Facilities Management office or via Email up to 2:00 PM, Regina Time, on the 7th day of October, 2025.

A Consent of Surety for Labour & Material and Performance bonds will be required.
A mandatory Pre-bid meeting Site visit is scheduled for 9:00 AM, on the 18th day of September, 2025. Meeting location is the Education Building South doors on Main Campus at 3919 University Drive South.
