Summary Project Description: The project consists of renovations and upgrades to the existing Laurel Street Center, a behavioral health facility located at 650 Laurel Street, Culpeper, VA, zoned as Group B (Business use). The scope includes the addition of a Limited Use/Limited Application (LULA) elevator along the exterior perimeter of the existing building. Exterior improvements include the replacement of the roof, lap siding, and all exterior doors and windows. Interior renovations involve selective demolition and reconfiguration of office spaces, restrooms, and shower rooms; updated interior finishes; replacement of ceilings and lighting fixtures; and upgrades to the existing HVAC systems. Site improvements will include additional sidewalks for pedestrian access, the addition of a sanitary lift station to the site to support the added fixture loads to the sanitary system, and repairs to the site retaining wall at the rear of the building.
